TOPIC FOR REFLECTION

WHOM GOD HAS CHOSEN TO SAVE, HE WILL SAVE

When the Pharaoh who never knew Joseph started to rule in Egypt, he gave the order that all newly born male children should be killed, and it was during this period that Moses was born.

Imagine how God inspired the mother to place the child inside a basket, put the baby inside the basket on flowing water where the enemy's daughter will see him, and God designed it such that the mother of Moses was called to care for the baby. Funny enough, she was even given money to take good care of the baby.

Hence, the baby Moses was preserved by the Lord using his enemy to nurture him, not just inside the enemy's territory, but under the enemy's nose.

Invariably, the enemy (Pharao) used his resources and the state's money to train his enemy (Moses) who will later in the future become the highest enemy of the Egyptians

My dear, those of us running from one pastor to the order seeking protection from the hands of their enemy should read the story of Moses. Know that it is not your effort that saves you from the trap the enemy has set for you, but the merciful kindness of God.

So, whomever God has chosen to save, even his/her enemy will contribute to his/her safety.

Therefore, do not fear anybody who threatens you, because God who preserved and save Moses' life is still on the throne. He will save you from the hands of all your enemies.

He may even allow your enemy to use his money to train you and your child in this life,

It is not your effort, but God's powerful wisdom

But, how many of us appreciate what God is doing in our lives,  despite all His good intentions, we still chose to follow other gods through by casting our trust in Man.

This is  more reason Jesus reacted in today's Gospel saying what He did in our lives, if He

does it among the pagans, they will repent and love God.

Let us pray that God will not condemn us all at the end of our stay here on earth.

Peace ✌️ be with you.
