TOPIC FOR REFLECTION

*THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST IS LOVE*

A Christian who does not live in love, but hatred is not Christ-like, but devil-like.

                      OR

What type of Christian, Christ-like are we if we do not live in Love among one another, but share, wine, dine, celebrate and promote hatred?

                     MORE SO

---Why do we want people to Love us when we do not care to love others?

---Why do we want people to appreciate us when we refuse to appreciate others?

---Why do we want people to help us when we find it extremely difficult to help others?

---Why do we want people to wish us good tidings, while we wish others evil?

---Why do we justify our evil actions, while we pretend to love?

Well, in all of the above-raised questions, if one is guilty of any, such may not experience peace of mind. Even though Christ lives in us as an individual, still living in hatred will make one not experience the presence of Christ living within

Remember the words of the scripture in 1 John 4: 20

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

My dear, if any of us wants to make Heaven, let us, LOVE, because God is Love.

The following are useless.

*** Constant prayer without love

*** Constant fasting without Love

*** Healing without Love

*** Miracles without Love.

*** Prophecy without Love. etc

All of these gifts without Love are useless. Cf. 1 Corinthians 13:2

The key to Heaven is Love. Where true Love exists, hatred has no trace of existence.

The logic is very simple.

***If you love a person, you will not want to harm him/her.

***The person's joy, happiness, and sorrow would become yours.

***Such are the persons you will sympathize and empathize with regularly.

Similarly, my dearly beloved in Christ, do you know that our God is not wicked the way some individuals present him?

Always remember that God is Love, and anyone who lives in love lives in God and God in him.

1 John 4: 16-17

"Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment because in this world we are like Him (God)."

So, in line with the explanations above, Jesus in today's Gospel encourages us to love our neighbour as we would want others to love us if we want to enter the kingdom of heaven.

In summary, if we want to enjoy our stay on this earth and still make heaven, let us just try to live a simple life like a child, and love as much as we can to please God.

So, do not worry, your good gesture of Love may not be appreciated by men, but God appreciate them and it will win you heaven.

 *Peace ✌️ be with you*
