TOPIC FOR REFLECTION

 *TRUST GOD, BUT AVOID HYPOCRISY*

Jesus said, "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees – that is, their hypocrisy".

It simply means if you know anybody with the under-listed attributes, please in your interest and for the sake of your future, avoid them. If you can't avoid them, learn to manage them.

Do not keep such persons as friends, unless you want to ruin your future. So, avoid:

1. The people who are not real, fake by nature.

2. Those who teach the wrong doctrine

3. Those who blackmail and slander people. Note: Be aware that those who gossip to you about others have already massacred you to other people before coming to you. Avoid them.

4. Those who are pretenders

5. Those who are full of eye 👀  service

6. Those who live and dine with envy and jealousy. etc.

Jesus went further to say, that everything that is now covered will be uncovered, and everything now hidden will be made clear. For this reason, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in hidden places will be proclaimed on the housetops.

I guess you can now understand the shame that awaits those who are hypocritical by nature.

Hence, He (Jesus) admonished us not to fear those who can kill the body alone but to fear God who can kill both the body and the soul.

My dear, it is only those who trust God that will have His fear inherent in them.

Always remember that those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion that can not be shaken but endured forever.

Cf. Psalm 125: 1

Therefore, we who first hoped in Christ have been destined and appointed to live for the praise of God's glory. In Christ, we have heard the Word of truth, the Gospel of our salvation, and have believed in Him, and were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of His kingdom to the praise of His glory.
