TOPIC FOR REFLECTION

ONE GOD: ONE HEAVEN

Helloooooooooo, should I stop? 😆

If I may ask...

Are there two Gods?

Are there two Christs?

Are there two Heavens?

Is there a particular time in life when one can not come from God, talk to God, call on God, or return to God?

Prophet Isaiah encouraged us to call on God when we can find Him, while St. Paul's letter to the Romans confirmed that either we live or die, we belong to God. Invariably, from God we come, and to God we shall return.

God and His kingdom Heaven is not meant for one person, it is not first come, first serve, No. It is for everybody.

So, why do you get angry, envious, jealous, and bitter, when someone becomes converted?

Now, let us play with logic.

If there is only one HEAVEN, which means there is only one God

If there is only one God, it means there is only one soul

If there is only one Soul, it means there is only one SPIRIT also known as the Supreme Being-God

Meanwhile, according to the simple Catechism of the Catholic Church No 5. It says:

Q: HOW IS YOUR SOUL LIKE TO GOD?

A: My soul is like God because it is a Spirit, and it is immortal.

More so, we are all aware that God created us in His image and likeness, and after creating us, He breathed into our nostrils. Cf. Gen. 2: 7

Invariably, the breath of God into our nostrils gave us life. More reason life returns to God after death, and the body returns to clay.

Now, recall that it is only ONE AND ONLY GOD who breathed into the nostrils of all uncountable human races on earth. More reason He will treat and love us equally,

Therefore, it will be good to know that all human beings share the same Spirit of God. More reason we are called little gods. Cf. John 10: 34; Psalm 82: 6.

More so, 2 Tim. 2: 12-13 says, that even if we deny Him (God), He will not deny us, because He cannot deny Himself.

Invariably, we should become conscious of the fact that, if we hate, hurt, kill, or destroy, any person, it means we do all those things to God and ourselves because we share the same spirit with God. Similarly, if we show love, and kindness, to others, we are showing it to God and ourselves.

My dear, the above explanation is to buttress the parable Jesus gave in today's Gospel.

The householder hired workers on his farm and promised to pay each of them one dollar (#1), and he was faithful to it by paying them the exact amount he promised to pay them. No cheating.

In a simple explanation, the one dollar (#1) is Heaven. The truth is that a convert of 70 years, 40 years, or a day old; if all the three sample ages should die, all will enter the same one Heaven.

Imagine if a convert of 70 years starts to claim seniority that he should get above heaven because he laboured for God for several years, the question is, if God wants to please Him, which other place that is above Heaven would he go to?

Please, all are equal before God, and the same Heaven we shall all enjoy.

Wait, do you know why Jesus said the first shall be the last, and the last become first? Below are some of the reasons:

1. Those who claim to be holier than others, may end in hell fire, while those who never claim to be holier than others will make heaven.

2. Among those who are converted, some do act as God's secretary, or Jesus' assistant, while those who see themselves as sinners, may attract God's mercy to gain heaven.

3. We should not be jealous or afraid of others being converted, because Heaven is enough to contain everyone.

Finally, I will leave us with this question to reflect on...

If you hate and do not want to see your neighbour, and you later kill him/her just because of worldly material wealth; now, if the person you kill goes to Heaven, which other heaven do you intend to go into?

I asked, because the person you have hatred for, how can you be in the same heaven with your enemy whom you intentionally killed?

Is it the same Heaven or another Heaven?

To hate a person is to hate God

To kill a person is to kill God

So, please, let us not hate or kill, all of us belong to One God, and one Heaven is ours.

Always remember that the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom. Cf. 1 Corinthians 1: 25.

Peace ✌️ be with you
