TOPIC FOR REFLECTION

CAN WE LOVE LIKE JESUS?

My dear, the word L O V E practically means many things to many people.

It means different things to different people.
Our experiences of Love from our different backgrounds determine how we perceive LOVE.
Naturally, to some people, LOVE is sweet like honey, while to some LOVE it is bitter.

Meanwhile, today, let us play with words contextualizing the ABC of LOVE as it may apply to the individual

Chose from the under listed, which applies to you.
                                A-H
To some LOVE is Amazing, while to some it is Annoying
To some LOVE is like Bread and Butter, while to some it is like Beast and Betrayal
To some LOVE is Captivating, while to some it is Complicated
To some LOVE Develops gradually, while to some it Drops fast because it's too demanding.
To some LOVE is Enduring, while to some it is Exploiting.
To some LOVE is Faithfulness, while to some it is a fearful Failure.
To some LOVE is Gratitude, while to some it is Gratification
To some LOVE is Happiness, while to some it is Hopelessness

                               I-Q
To some LOVE is Ingenuity, while to some it is indifference
To some LOVE is Joyful, while to some it is Sadness
To some LOVE is Kindness, while to some it is Killing emotionally
To some LOVE is Liveliness, while to some it is Loneliness
To some LOVE is Merciful, while to some it is Merciless
To some LOVE is being Nice, while to some it is being Nasty
To some LOVE is Ordinary (Natural), while to some it is not Ordinary.
To some LOVE is Patience, while to some it is Punishing
To some LOVE is Queen, while to some it is Quitting.

                               R-Z
To some LOVE is Re-assurance, while to some it is Resistance based on their bad experiences
To some LOVE is Sincerity, while to some it is Suspicious
To some LOVE is Trusting, while to some it is Thrusting
To some LOVE is Unconditional, while to some it is Unbalanced.
To some LOVE is Vast, whole to some it is Vile
To some LOVE is Willingness, while to some it is Wailing
To some LOVE is Not Xenophobia, while to some it is Xenophobia
To some LOVE is YOU, while to some LOVE is YOURS
To some LOVE is Zealous for good, while to some it has no Zeal for good.

In summary, do not allow your ugly experiences of Love to blindfold you from seeing the Love of God for you. Similarly, show LOVE to others without expecting recognition, appreciation, compliments, etc. However, expect betrayal, calumny, gossip, etc.
The expectation of negative feedback will encourage one not to give up loving.

But always remember this

Jesus said: This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant, does not know what his master is doing.

Let me just hint you a little about the price you must pay for Love
The more you love, the more your pain
The more you give, the less you receive
The more you sacrifice for others, the more betrayal you should expect.
My dear such is life. There is nothing we can do about it.
The day you decide to follow Jesus, that is the very moment tribulations will begin, 😆, but you may ask, WHY NA? 😆

Well, do not "WHY" too much, listen to what Jesus said:
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. This I command you, to love one another.

Hello, can you now see the WHY, 😆
Jesus gave all for the Love He has for us, still, He was betrayed. More reason He chose you, yes, I mean you reading this reflection and plants His Love in you, to teach others to LOVE genuinely as He had loved us.

Peace ✌️ be with you.
