TOPIC FOR REFLECTION

THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL CONSOLE YOU IN YOUR SUFFERING WHEN HE COMES.

Suffering! Suffering!! Suffering!!!
How many times did I call you?
Wait a minute, I have some questions for you.

How did you come into existence?
Is it God who created you, or you existed by chance?
Do you know how stubborn and obstinate you are?
What is actually your function in the life of humanity?
What has been your positive impact on their lives?

Well, Mr suffering, my observation about you is that, you allow yourself to be used as a tool of destruction, to destroy humanity.
In fact, I am tempted to say it seems you work hand-in-hand with the devil, to create pain and discouragement for good people who want to serve God.

Now, my ultimate question is, why do you allow yourself to be used as a tool to destroy humanity, especially Christians?

Do you know how many people had sold their conscience for money, after you, Mr. Suffering dealt with them almost to the point of death?

Suffering, you have made many corrupt, prostitutes, criminals, etc.

Anyway, Mr. Suffering, I have not much to discuss with you, but to my fellow brothers and sisters, the majority of whom you have destroyed their lives.

My dear people of God, do you know why suffering seems not to have an end?
It is because human beings bring suffering upon themselves.

Imagine how blissful our world would look if suffering should be eliminated from society. However, our consolation is that God is close to the broken brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Cf. Psalm 34: 18

So, we should not be discouraged; let us ask for God's grace to endure the sufferings we encounter daily in life. I plead with us, let us learn to suffer, because whether we like it or not, suffering is part of life.

Therefore, in our daily suffering, we should rejoice because Jesus had promised to send the Holy Spirit to us who will console us, and also promised never to abandon us.
In all of these, we should allow our love for God to become more solidified. Jesus said that anyone who loves Him, would-be loved by His Father, unconditionally

Similarly, this is more reason St. Peter admonished us to always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who calls us to account for the hope that is in you, keep your conscience clear, so that, when you are abused, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame; for it is better to suffer for doing right if that should be God’s will than for doing wrong. For Christ also died for sins once and for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit.

So, if for doing the right thing, you are being abused, relax because Holy Spirit will console you just as he descended upon the Samaria people who received Christ with great wonders.

In summary, let us suffers for justice, and not for injustices. May the Holy Spirit console us as we await His coming on Pentecost Sunday.

Persecution (suffering) made the church spread fast, just as suffering helps one to become more sensible (wise).

Peace ✌️ be with you.
